A Swipe Of Comfort
Hello! I’m Liz, an artist from New Berlin, Wisconsin who is learning and working in Milwaukee. I was inspired to start my artistic journey at the age of 12 after picking up my first graphic novel. Currently, I’m studying illustration, graphic design, and fine arts at Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design (MIAD.) I work primarily within the realm of illustration, incorporating it into nearly all of my work. I also dabble in printmaking, painting, video production and animation. My inspiration is mostly gathered from the people and things I find around me in my everyday life. I make art to spread positivity and happiness to those who encounter it, seeking to inspire them to be their authentic selves. Aside from art, I enjoy music and travel as well. One day, I’d like to get a tattoo, visit Japan, and adopt a cat (in no particular order.)
I created ‘A Swipe of Comfort’ for Carmex to focus on inclusivity. I wanted to show that Carmex is for everyone. Anyone, no matter who they are, where they come from, or how they identify, can enjoy the comfort of Carmex!
