Does my kiss expire?

Your kiss will be accessible at www.mycarmexkiss.com for the duration of our campaign, or at least one year.

I opted in/out of future Carmex communications, but now I've changed my mind. What do I do?

Go to www.mycarmex.com, select “contact us” and send us an email to request that your email be deleted or added to our list.

What does it mean to “make it social”?

Selecting “make it social” allows you to post your kiss to your Facebook or MySpace page.

How do I post my Carmex kiss to my MySpace page?

After you’ve clicked “send my kiss,” click the MySpace quick post button. Unblock pop up windows in your browser and log into your Myspace account. You can select where you want your kiss posted within your profile, add your own title and description. Once you hit “post it” your kiss will appear on your MySpace profile.

How do I post my Carmex kiss to my Facebook page?

After you’ve clicked “send my kiss,” click the Facebook quick post button. Unblock pop up windows in your browser and log into your Facebook account, where you should see that “the item was successfully posted.” You have the option to share the kiss with your Facebook network. Your Carmex Kiss will be posted to your “my stuff” area. You can choose to edit the description, get the code specific to your kiss, share it, or delete it from your account.

My Facebook/MySpace page didn’t open when I clicked on the Facebook/Myspace buttons. What do I do now?

You should see a message that says “If the window didn’t open, please copy this URL to a browser.” A URL appears in the field below that message. Click the “copy” button and paste (Select “edit > paste” From your browser menu) the URL into your browser window and hit return. This should take you to your Facebook or MySpace profile. Turning off browser pop up blockers or allowing pop ups for mycarmexkiss.com may also help.

What if I want to post to a social network other than Myspace or Facebook?

Once you create your kiss and click the “send kiss” button, copy the embed code to post to your specific social media account or profile. Each social network has a different way of adding the embed code to an account or profile. Check with your specific social network on how to post code snippets for your specific accounts.

How do I remove my Carmex kiss from my MySpace or Facebook pages?

Your social network should have settings that allow you to delete your kiss from your profile. Because they differ from network to network, check with your selected network for directions.

I uploaded an image, but it appears to be cut off. What do I do?

Decrease the size of your image by dragging the cursor next to “zoom,” or try to click on the visible portion of your image and drag it to the center of the viewer.
