Healing Lotion and Healing Cream
Now Available in Multiple Sizes at Most Major Retailers
MILWAUKEE (Sept. 2011) – Carma Laboratories Inc., the maker of Carmex® lip balm products, today announced the expansion of its skin
care line with Carmex® Healing Lotion in a new 13-ounce pump. With the addition of the new 13-ounce lotion pump, and other trial
and travel sizes now available, Carma Laboratories has developed its skin care line into multiple product sizes for a variety of
customer uses. The suggested retail price for the new pump is $10.99.
“Carmex fans have embraced our skin care line since we unveiled the Healing Lotion and Healing Cream last year,” said Paul Woelbing,
president, Carma Laboratories. “Our goal was to leverage the healing power of Carmex to develop a family of skin care products that
work as well as our popular lip balm. We are excited that we now offer two Carmex skin care formulas in a variety of sizes to serve
virtually every customer need.”
Originally available exclusively at Walgreens and Walgreens.com, Carmex skin care products are now available and will be
seen this fall at most national chain drug and retail stores, including: Walmart, CVS, Meijer and Drugstore.com.
Carmex® Healing Lotion features aloe and vitamin E to moisturize, heal and protect skin from dryness. It has a light,
fresh scent and is formulated for daily use. In addition to the new 13-ounce pump, Carmex Healing Lotion is available
in a 5.5-ounce-tube for a suggested retail price of $5.99 and a convenient 1-ounce trial-size tube that retails for $.99.
Carmex® Healing Cream is a richer, more concentrated formula that helps repair extremely dry, rough or cracked areas.
It features nine concentrated healing and moisturizing ingredients and can be used anywhere on the body. It is particularly
effective on areas prone to extreme dryness like the hands, feet, elbows and knees. Carmex Healing Cream comes in a 4-ounce
tube for $5.99 suggested retail price. The cream is also available in a 2-ounce travel-size tube with a retail price of
$2.99 and .75-ounce trial-size tube that retails for $.99.
In 2010, Carmex unveiled its new skin care line – Carmex Healing Lotion and Carmex Healing Cream – the first Carmex
products outside of the lip balm category. The two Carmex skin care formulas use a patent-pending process and rich
healing ingredients to soothe, moisturize and help repair even the driest, roughest skin. The new skin care line
provides the restorative effect that customers expect from Carmex, without feeling greasy.
